Mission Statement
- Expert management in all phases of sleep-wake diagnostic testing. - Educational programs for the citizens of the surrounding communities as well as allied health personnel in sleep disorders medicine. - Increasing the awareness of the public at large in the need for quality sleep in the health of our society. Our vision Continual growth of our low-cost, high-quality diagnostic sleep-wake testing, performed by a highly-trained staff of medical professionals who are committed to personal continuing education in the areas of sleep medicine as well as community and allied health awareness to the impact of various sleep disorders; and to be the Upstate's number one choice for quality sleep-wake testing. Our standards of care -Each patient will receive an assessment prior to testing by a board-certified sleep physician. - The patient and families will be educated on the continuum of patient care and their roles and exceptions. - On initial patient visit, testing, and discharge, individualized assessments will be done to determine ongoing learning needs. - Each patient will participate in decisions regarding care including the development and revisions of their plan of care. - CDSF will remain a reference source for the patient throughout his or her course of care and serve as a liaison through the various care/treatment modalities.
